BAYPORT - The Andersen Corp. released profit sharing amounts Monday, telling workers they will receive a bonus check for 22 percent of their yearly earnings.This year's percentage is slightly lower than last year, when the corporation released profit sharing amounts of 26 percent. The checks are a long-lasting tradition at the Bayport-based window manufacturer - the company has shared its takings with employees since 1914, except for the years of the Great Depression. The Andersen profit sharing plan is the third oldest in the U.S."We're really pleased to be able to continue that tradition," Andersen Director of Corporate Communications Maureen McDonough said.
